Race Timer Stopwatch & Lap Tracker

A multi-racer stopwatch ⏱️ built for any timed event. Running races, swim heats, karting, cycling crits, regattas, and athletics drills. Start the master clock, add a row for each competitor, and tap a button as each crosses the line. The board records the finishing time of every racer and broadcasts the live results through a shareable link. The multi-racer board is essentially a parallel stopwatch. See the Wikipedia stopwatch article. For athletics timing standards, visit the World Athletics.

Track & field - 100 m, 400 m, mile, marathon. Add a row per athlete, mass-start the clock, and tap each finisher in the order they cross.
Swimming heats - Use one row per lane. The auto-ranking column shows the lane order for the next round of seeding.
Karting / motorsport - Run timed sessions and qualifying. Hit the button each time a kart crosses the line for a quick lap-best ranking.
Cycling & triathlon - Mass-start with all riders on the same clock; finish line tap captures the times. Share the live link with the team car or family at home.

Share The Race Timer With A Live Link

At a club race the timer often sits at one end of the venue while spectators, parents, coaches and athletes are spread out across the course. The live link is broadcasted with a link. Every tap on the admin device pushes the updates to every device that has the live link open in a web browser. No refresh, no app install. Anyone watching sees the same clock and the same ranking as the timekeeper. When the race ends, the final results stay visible.

Tip: Projector modeOpen the live link on the laptop driving the venue projector. The board scales to fit any screen and reads cleanly from a far distance.

FAQ

Can I add a competitor after the race has started?

Yes. New rows can be added mid-heat. The newcomer's timer starts when you tap their start button, separate from the master clock.

Does it support laps?

Each tap captures the current time. For events that record per-lap splits, tap once per lap; the ranking shows the most recent recorded time per racer.

What timing resolution does the board use?

Times are captured to one-hundredth of a second. The displayed precision is automatic based on duration: minutes for marathons, seconds for sprints.

Ready to host a race?Create the timer, share the live link, and you're ready for the starter's pistol. Timing only two players or need something more specific? Use the chess clock. Once the times are in, rank finishers on the leaderboard.
